Inter-school soccer; KUHIS, Amass, KSTS, Kumaca, Ejisuman Through

The ongoing inter school soccer competition is living up to expectations as the twinkle twinkle little stars of qualified Schools continue to produce awesome performances to the excitement of many supporters at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Japass settled the argument with Agogo State in the play offs after the Federation ruled that that group match should be replayed. The match ended goalless with Japass winning of penalties.

T. I. Amass confirmed their readiness to stake a claim for this year’s title by silencing Kofiase SDA SHS 2:0.

Kumasi Academy found Simms too difficult to break down and had to settle it on the penalty shootout to win 5:4.

Ejisuman SHS silenced Adventist SHS Ksi by three unanswered goals to book a plain the next stage.

KSTS and Collins SHS from Agogo entertained the supporters with their exciting display of f soccer artistry but the game ended 0:0 with KSTS winning on penalties.

Then Kumasi High School and St George’s played what was considered the best match of the day with an early goal by KUHIS cancelled by a late goal from St. George’s. After a very beautiful display from the two sides, Kuhis won on penalties to secure qualification to the next round.

T. I. Amass-Fomena then dispatched KNUST SHS 1:0 in a hard fought victory to secure qualification to the next round.
